I have been intrigued by the developments around a proposed Ugandan bill that would imprison or kill homosexuals. Their stance is in accord with Scriptures: “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death; their blood is upon them” (Leviticus 20:13). Evangelicals who pride themselves on Biblical literalism are now in the position of having to declare whether they support the Ugandan bill or whether they believe it is going too far.
I also intend to do further research on homosexuality and the Bible.
