Ok … so a guy calls this afternoon after finding my name and office phone number on a piece of paper. The paper said “If you want to change your life, please call.” I’ve never put out something like that. This guy didn’t know I was a pastor. We talked about some things he wants and needs to change. He said “Maybe I just need to find Jesus.” I told him that it sounded to me like Jesus already found him, and we prayed together. I told him that I was proud of him for taking such a significant step. He said “You’re proud of me? People like you just don’t tell people like me that you’re proud.”
I normally don’t post interactions with people, but this was profound. I was speechless … well … almost.
There is no rational explanation for this conversation other than to say “It’s a God thing.” Thanks be to God!
