Prayer Focus: Cleanse my heart and mind that I might hear You
Scripture: Psalm 51
Reflection: Periodically, we need to clean up. Our bathtubs accumulate soap scum. Our teeth get a build-up of plaque. When we speak of “health,” we know that maintaining physical, mental and spiritual health is part of our overall health. Today, keep it simple. Focus on God.
Prayer: Create in me a clean heart, O Lord. Forgive my sin and the many ways I prefer to listen to my own voice instead of Yours. Remove my ego, and selfish ambition, and pride. That you may increase in my life. Amen.
Journal: Take some time to write your thoughts, feelings and reactions after reading the Scripture and reflection for today. It’s ok to let your mind wander and write what happens in your wandering.
