The following are reflections on Psalm 139:13-14 today from Bible.com as well as the stories making headlines now.
God made men
God made women
God made people who are gay, straight, lesbian, transgender, bisexual
God made people who become terrorists
God made black people, white people, and tan people
God made police officers and criminals
God made Democrats, Republicans, and independents
God made people who support Trump, those who support Hillary, and those who are so frustrated they don’t know who to vote for
God made people who support and those who oppose gun control
God made citizens of the United States, citizens of other countries, and those migrating to make a better life as well as to flee to safety
God made those who are more open immigration and those who are opposed to it
God made Christians, people of other religions, and people of no religion
There is not a person alive today or who ever lived who was not “fearfully and wonderfully made.”
These are our neighbors.
The questions for each of us every day are these … How will I love my neighbor as myself? How will I do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with my God? (Micah 6:8)
